Common Questions

Answers to the most common questions about giving to ASADEC.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. Email your transfer confirmation to info@asadec.org and you'll receive a formal receipt from ASADEC within 5 business days.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

In Mozambique, donations to ASADEC may qualify for tax benefits under national law. For international donors (US, UK, EU and others), tax deductibility depends on your local regulations — please consult a tax advisor in your country. We are actively working with fiscal sponsors to enable tax-deductible giving from key countries. Contact us for the most current status in your region.

Can I set up a recurring monthly donation?

Yes. You can set up an automatic monthly bank transfer through your bank. We recommend contacting us beforehand so we can send you impact reports and program updates tied to your recurring gift.

Can I donate anonymously?

Yes. If you prefer to donate anonymously, let us know by email and your name will not appear in any public report. We will only keep the minimum data required by law.

Can I donate goods instead of money?

Yes. We accept in-kind donations (clothing, non-perishable food, school supplies, equipment, vehicles, pro bono services). Please contact us first so we can confirm current community needs.

How can I see the impact of my donation?

We publish an annual activity and impact report on our website. Regular donors also receive periodic updates on the projects they support.

Together, we transform lives.

Give today and become part of the change in vulnerable communities across Mozambique.
