From 11 to 14 August, ASADEC and MEPT carried out a joint monitoring visit to five schools in Gorongosa district, under the MSNE project — funded by the European Union. The mission brought together 80 participants — Members of the National Assembly, Sofala Provincial Assembly, technicians from the Sofala Provincial Directorate of Education and Gorongosa District Services, School Council members, and journalists — to assess how education policies are being implemented and to strengthen participatory oversight in local communities.
